Shri Rajesh Kumar Chaturvedi, IAS took over as the new chairman of CBSE today.
Sharing the vision and role of CBSE in school education, Shri Chaturvedi emphasised on the
need for improving quality of education in schools across the country with ample thrust
upon teacher quality to sustain improvement in the standard of education. One of the
foremost priorities will also be to make CBSE as a modern and multidimensional front
ranking organisation among other issues.
